ThankYouX

ThankYouX, a painter from Los Angeles, California, began his artistic career in 2009. While working as a graphic artist and art director by day, he painted anonymously at night, gradually shifting from street art into geometric abstraction and layered forms. Over the last fifteen years, his practice has expanded to include large-scale murals, paintings, and sculptures, with exhibitions in the United States and internationally.

In 2020, ThankYouX began creating blockchain-based digital artwork to explore NFTs as part of his practice. His work often reflects an interest in how art can be experienced and accessed, bridging traditional formats with new technologies.

He has exhibited widely including his solo exhibition Inertia at Sotheby’s Gallery in Los Angeles; collaborations with institutions such as the Museum of the Future in Dubai and the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art; partnerships with major auction houses as both an artist and curator; a collaboration with composer Hans Zimmer; a commission for Snapchat’s Los Angeles headquarters; and his project State of the Art, which combines digital and physical elements. He has also presented work at venues such as Art Basel and Paris’s Urban Art Fair.
