Bengt Tibert is an artist and creative director whose work with AI, photography, and video exemplifies a polished yet adventurous approach to new media art. Based in Warsaw, Poland, Tibert holds a Master of Arts and spent years in the advertising world – experience that informs the striking visual clarity of his artwork. In his artistic practice, he leverages machine learning and generative techniques to transform his own photographs and paintings into surreal, cinematic imagery. Tibert’s pieces often feature fluid morphologies and dreamlike scenes, reflecting his fascination with how artificial intelligence can remix reality.
Tibert’s work has earned recognition across the burgeoning AI art scene. He was a finalist in the Claire Silver AI Art Contest (notably in the motion category) and a winner of Sloika’s Simulation/Simulacra open call, accolades that speak to the technical excellence of his videos and images. His art has been exhibited internationally – including shows like Oneiric Project in Paris and In Between Spaces in New York – and even featured in a contemporary art museum in Tallinn. A member of Fellowship’s Daily program, Tibert is also known as a co-founder of AI OR DIE, the innovative AI-comedy collective pushing machine creativity into film and performance.
